Haven’t posted in a while so I better get something written. When we came back from our little adventure to New Orleans, Nick called and wondered if we could come and help him build a new deck on their house before Christmas. So Sunday Dec 3 we loaded the boat onto the trailer and drove to Chattanooga, TN. We have been this whole week tearing apart the old structure and working on the new. We have enjoyed our time with family but will probably leave Sunday to head to Florida. Will trailer the boat and launch it in Florida. We’re still looking for some warm weather as it’s been in the 30s at night and only in the 50s and sometimes the low 60s in the daytime. Hope Florida is a bit warmer!
Well our part for the boat has not come in yet so we decided to leave the dogs at a kennel and take off. Monday we left and headed to Vicksburg MS in our truck. We spent most of the day visiting the Vicksburg National Battle Field. We then headed down to New Orleans. We spent the last 2 days exploring the city. Lots of jazz, interesting cemeteries, Bourbon St, and big mansions. Road all over in the streetcars and of course plenty of walking. Us down by the Mississippi River. So beignets are very popular in New Orleans. They are like a square doughnut with way too much powdered sugar on them. OK tomorrow we head back to Columbus,MS marina and pick up the dogs. Things have been going well don’t know what tomorrow will bring.

You 2 are all over the place😄 How fun to be with Nick, Anka and little Nova😊
